I don't mean to brag, wait, yes I do! On page 6 my name is listed as a contributor and on page 77 lower right is the picture I contributed! I got mine in the mail today. I sat down with the intention of quickly cruising through it and getting back to it. That was 1 1/2 hours ago! Great book! Marty Marysville, OH Thanks again for the cool photo, Marty! I was so stoked to see that shot! Thanks for doing the book! I still haven't put it on the shelf. It is still sitting out and I am still looking it over. Marty Marysville, OH

The PT Cruiser club I belong to used to have a traveling trophy. To get the trophy all you had to do was attend one of our dinner get togethers. The current owner of the trophy had to customize it. The only requirements were it had to have a PT Cruiser on it and it had to be family friendly. It was then passed to the next person and they customized it. Here is what I did with it: Marty Marysville, OH

I was involved in a 1/24 scale slot car Vintage Race Night a few years ago. We had a Thingie class added. Here is one of my entries: I HAD to add purple and white tuck 'n' roll upholstery: Marty Marysville, OH

I forgot to let you know, I have a booth at Grandpa's Garage and when I wasn't getting any response I put it in there. I can call them and put a hold on it if we make a deal. I'll be going back there next week.

The name Tijuana Taxi has been used by slot car company International Engineering. This picture was taken in a book, Vintage Slot Cars by Philippe de Lespinay. It was also used for an album of Tijuana Brass knock off. This one was sold by Tastee-Freeze. Other companies used the same record, but their own cover art. Marty Marysville, OH

I got this kit with the intention of restoring it. It ain't gonna happen. This is exactly how I got it. This was started and a previous owner started the process of restoration. The instructions say it is the 1965 version. I don't know how to tell if it is the 1967 reissue. I don't have the box. If there were decals, I don't have them. I laid out the parts on the instruction sheet (Thank you Monogram for doing an exploded view!) and it appears all the parts are there. Some of the parts were broken during disassemble. Check out the pictures: I am asking $75.00 shipped to your USA address. Please, no foreign shipping. I accept Paypal (preferred), Money Order, or Check. I will ship when funds clear my account. Thank you, Marty Marysville, OH mruiz2@columbus.rr.com

I just got this in the mail. It is a Riggen 1/32 slot car. I believe they called this one the "Ice Truck" I know for sure the HO Riggen slot is called the "Ice Truck" Marty Marysville, OH My buddy also has the molds to a Berry T C-Cab, and an extra body... I will add building one to my one-day list after I get my rat-bug dialed in, but how cool would one of these be?

If you can find a copy of the April 1967 Car Model Magazine with a good cover, there is a cut out of the Back Up Pickup. It was designed to fit an Aurora Thunder-Jet Chassis. Marty Marysville, OH
