I am unable to pull it up, I guess you could try. Most auctions are ended through timing out or buying now, then they are available for viewing for several months after. This auction was removed by eBay last night after I reported it, I have no idea weather or not you could view the car. When I used my bookmarks to look at the car, I was given the message that the car had been removed and routed to slimier items, like with an ended listing that has timed out. I have never reported an item before and don't really know how they work, nor do I really care what happened to the car, just as long the seller is not trying to scam a person. I saw the listing last night after I bid the seller started changing the car's description of it so much that the duster was devalued almost entirely, so I cancelled my bid "along with several other people", and only later when I went to adjust my bid, found that the seller was making false claims, and that his ad had been strikingly similar to ads that have been posted over the past few months that had been false. Last night I only reported the item based on the fact that my friend, within another automotive forum, informed me not to bid, and that the seller was very shady, after investigating into it more.n I discovered and how he had zero feedback and nothing else listed, and had no previous references in his rating. So I can only find the car based on my bookmarks and when I use that it only come up with how the car is no longer available

Oops, I guess I should have thought of that, if I can get to it today, I was sent a message through eBay this morning that the car, by the way, a "plymouth duster twister, was removed by eBay staff after the item was reported. I searched the number this morning and came up with nothing "121153120204", was the number that the car was listed under and I had only placed a bid for a grand, however by the time the car had been "removed" I saw the bid had reached a larger number, I actually had intentions to bid again, but was actually told by a friend from a mopar forum I'm on that he was aware of the seller "who by the way had a big fat ZERO" feedback. I guess you could say that I kinda felt stupid that I was almost tricked by such a bizarre scheme, but I'm glad that the problem was resolve. Furthermore, I was glad to have found out about this and have been able to report the car, as others had bid before me and could have lost money on a false deal
OK, I went back to search up the number based on my previous searches, and found that it had been removed by eBay and was no longer available, as I had searched up the car previously based on what the car was, I also did that and found the same, that the car was no longer available. All I can say is that I did have to think long and hard about reporting the car, but it took me no time after what I herd to cancel my bids. The only other time doing so. on a model car that the owner violated multiple eBay rules, including changing the actual item, as I had no idea one could cancel a bid I contacted eBay customer service about the problem and my bid was removed, based on the fact that the sell mis represented the item and its worth

OK I'm gonna make this short and sweet, Today I placed a bid in on a car that I wanted and was quite happy with the bid until a few hours ago until I clicked on the car to see if I was still the high bidder and saw that the seller had changed some info about the car I was interested in, normally this wouldn't be an issue as this is a tactic of sellers in the end of a lot of auctions to gain more bidders, however when i went to investigate this, I found that the info the seller had posted made the fact that i was bidding not an option at the price and the safety to my account "as his demands (unreasonable to say the least)", changed the item's value and worth significantly, plus in the last update payment for said car was made impossible by his demands and was suspicious to say the least, as he was demanding bidders to pay him. Not through pay pal, but through a well known Google accounts payable, "well known for being used for scams". After these demands were made, including that he was going to strip parts of the car off, including wheels, and the rear suspension? ? I mean WTF!!! I decided to remove my bid, only having done so once before "for equally bad circumstances", I went around eBay and it took only a few minutes to remove the bid, after this was done. I viewed the progress of the car and on forums that were talking about the car I was informed that the car was being sold through an auction house in California that was well known for being fake and a front for a foreign scammer "from guess what country" that was known for taking customer money and never delivering. After this was reveled I reported the item and eBay has yet to do anything about, Still most of my fellow counter bidders have yet to find out the truth about this item, and have yet to realize what they've gotten themselves into. I know they may have been my competitors only hours ago, but now I feel that at least one of them is about to make a terrible mistake. I can only say that at least I was warned about this, and that I was prepared to adjust my bid on the car before I was warned about the seller by a forum member on one of the automotive specialty sites I am on, and was lucky enough to have read my e mail as a last minute thing before heading back to eBay

Wow, I regretted selling my kit a few months ago, until now. it seems like the price of deals wheels kits are rising in recent weeks, I saw a swine hunt on an alternative auction site selling for several hundred bucks, it's never happened before when I've been shopping on eBay when I clicked on an item and it went up $50 in the time when I clicked on it and by the time I left the page it went up again! I bought all my kits at the low point in the market for great prices, so I guess you could say that I'm happy that all the kits I sold were reissued at some point after I sold them

Wow Bobby the more I look at your build, the more it makes me wish I had never sold the resin re pop of the body I had, a few weeks after selling it I had a good idea of a food truck kitbash, now I wish I had never sold the parts on eBay. I will never mess with the kit I'm building, but I sorta miss the blank body I had sitting around and never used, only after I sold it did I actually think of a good use for the kit

I've had my yahoo account hacked and after fighting it and changing passwords I finally dumped it and opened an account on Gmail. Try running these free programs to scan for malware: 1. Malwarebytes 2. McAfee's Stinger You too, I noticed this has happened to me several times, under two accounts. I was able to relieve the problem the first time, however I discovered the second time that my account was permanently locked so I started another account and I was locked out again. I brought up the issue to yahoo, and discovered they locked my accounts, because i use my accounts at work as well as my house, even after I told yahoo that I did not care if they thought that I was being hacked they still did not release the account, and later upon hacking myself back into my account I learned yahoo was the one hacking my system and reading my mail I was receiving from clients. Upon learning this I contacted yahoo saying that I was ashamed they had locked my account "without permission or previous warning" and that I would like for them to unlock it, to say the least they did nothing and since then I dumped all accounts and informed all of my business clients no t to e mail me as e mails sent to one yahoo accounts will be unlawfully read by yahoo staff. Since this has happened I disabled my account through re hacking said account and deleting the address. Imminently after this happened I got an e mail from yahoo on two of my other yahoo accounts and my g mail account "I don't know how they got that address" that I was being hacked, and they listed who the hacker was "guess who". To say the least I e mailed them back calling them morons and that their company should go bankrupt, I had no idea this was happening to others

Ya I kinda realized this a few months ago, when I asked a seller if he could send me pictures of a parts car and never got a response, he was communicating regularly up to that point so I just kinda figured he never got my final e mail

Ya the thing was I bought that particular kit along with several others, "hemi howler, lug bug, der beetle bus, and a Rommel's rod, many of the old school builders around here will remember the seller of said kits and the condition they were in, if you were to look at my kit when I first bought it. The car was covered in glue, the frame broken in several places and was oddly packed, thus damaging the kit even more, my kit is just the body basically, without the roof, I don't need to complete the kit now, but just to give you a good idea of how bad the kit was, someone posted some parts of the frame, headlights and engine off of my kit, "I sold said parts off some months ago along with a gypsy wagon "Found a new one with box and all the parts", and Laramie stage ghost "which I regret selling". I have seen them "koo koo kar" lately on the cheap and may buy a new one and have two

I personally think one could be easily created by a good hot rod shop, for not a lot of money and using parts from several different cars cut up and rewelded together

Lately I haven't been able to work on the last projects I was trying to complete, but now I have some free time and realized I needed some parts for an amt koo koo kar that I never completed, I need; the frame and engine block (with exhaust), gas tank, rear tires, chain that held the light, and finally I need the headlight assembly with the bells that went on top, I'm gonna try to get some progress done this weekend on the three kits, I was trying to complete before I had to sell off a few cars

I still have the giant tracks, and did have the swamp monster, I was planning to do a 1/16 maddog monster truck clone, with a shortened chevy chassis, blazer body, and a ton of styrine, but sold the project off when one of my friends saw how much progress I made and wanted to give the truck as a gift to his dad

all I can say is wow, I remember last year I started to do a 1:8 scale stage coach, but the project only got as far as making the body panels, buying a big tub kit, building the chassis up with a six carb manifold, and building the stage coach out of styrene with a wood pattern on it. I hope your build does better than mine did. So far your build is fantastic and from what I can see very far along

Wow your build made me think someone should really do a deals wheels version of the Titanic, With it racing into the iceberg. Beyond that your build looks amazing so far I love the idea of having the ship sinking, but your build also made me think about how this is another build sitting on my bench that I started years ago and never completed. In fact I would go as far as to say that the Titanic kit is my curse, whenever I start one they always go unfinished and in most cases destroyed, right now I'm on kit number six "I got the current kit from a flea market for free" which is the only reason why I would build it again

Wow I'm glad you made progress on this, it's one of my favorite builds ever posted on this forum, but were dd you get the parts. So far my kit is just sitting on the bench half finished, I haven't found much time to build lately as I just sold off most of my classic cars I had bought over the past couple of years and plan to "if everything goes right" pick up a 70 roadrunner barn find to make into a sort of rat rod muscle car, maybe in a couple of days I'll find time to work on finishing the koo koo kar, I bought a depth charger and plan to do it up like the rest of the kit, with pastel. The only parts I'm missing from the kit now are the headlights. The hemi howler is kinda just a body , after I just decided to replace the frame with a new one and start over using just the body, engine block, and the tail/ head lights. Actually the only build I finished this year has been the nitro bum, I hope to get something done during the fourth of July weekend

Is this 1:18 or 1:8 scale I know it said in the title that it is 1:18 but it looks larger by the parts you are using and by the models around it?

Great builds, I Have just acquired a number of mopars including a dart swinger, a charger super bee, and a duster from a friend in Maryland, and have already sold the dart and the duster to a guy in Nashville. I just sold a 71 barracuda two months ago that I have owned for several years and am currently working to buy a 1970 roadrunner rat rod from a gentleman in West Va "383 Manual trans, four speed pistol grip and a go wing out back, the car is a military green color and has been in a barn for 35 years"
