The TM is one of my favorite HW cars!
That said, I was disappointed they did not use Hemi engines for the 1:1 like the die cast.

The Resilient Resins body was made primarily for slot cars. I have sold them to modelers because they also make great static models.
Great find!!

I attended the Nostalgia F/C Nationals yesterday. Along with the F/C's and front engine T/F cars, some wheelstanders shoed up. Hemi Express: Mr. B's Peace Maker. Unfortunately he did not make a pass. The torque converter puked on him Plastic Fantastic. Not in running condition. Missing a lot of parts: Marty

You're welcome!
I don't remember seeing these when they were new. I have several of the ZEE 1/32 Chaparrals. I didn't know about the ZEE Silhouette until I got one at a toy show. Now I have three Silhouettes!

Years ago, late 80's, I stopped at a garage sale and asked the woman if she had any slot cars or model car kits. She politely asked me to wait a minute. She went inside and started SCREAMING at her son. She came back outside all red faced and said her son would be out in a minute. He came out carrying 3 HO slot car sets and model cars stacked so high I could not see his face!! He asked if this is what I was looking for, I CALMLY said yes.
The slot car sets looked like they were set up maybe once or twice. EVERY model kit had the wheels off the trees and the tires on them and that was all that was done! If I remember correctly I think gave him $10.00 for everything.
A once in a life time buy!

Before the internet there were actual face to face meetings of model car builders. I only belonged to one club,
Western Lake Erie Autominologists (Toledo, OH area)
I don't remember how many years I was a member, but I was club president for a year. We had the usual 4-5 guys doing everything for the club and the rest just kinda tagged along. I still see some of the guys at toy shows, but I don't think it is active now.
What club(s) did/do you belong to? Is the club still active?
Just curious, Marty

Maybe my mind has totally turned to mush, but wasn't there a model called the "Can't-Am"? It was similar to the McLapper.
