If you are putting them over a dark color, you'll have to use the white paper unless, by chance, you're using an ALPS printer as it can print white, otherwise, white background paper will be a must.

No, Don't!!! It will do freaky things over time, trust me! What happens I have been using the talc and super glue for a while and am curious. Does it all fall out or something I used it years ago too, now have several 20 year old builds and on some it went freaky, expanded and bubbled up where it was used over time. Looks like really bad "rust" or cancer or something else horrible. It held up great for several years before turning to kah kah too. Stay away from it if you want your quality builds to last!

It's far from the worst he's done, but no where near the best, that's for sure.

No, Don't!!! It will do freaky things over time, trust me! Go to a local auto parts store and get a small tube of red scratch putty also called skim coat putty. It bonds to styrene and sands perfectly. While you're there, grab a can of sandable primer too. Comes in several colors, from white, to light grey, dark grey, black and red-ish brown. You'll spend like ten bucks.

Man, it's just like looking a a really cool car without my glasses on! The color is great and I like the 'bluing' on the headers too. What are the wheels and tires off of/from? Please post some better pictures as it looks like a great build!

I have to ask, how do you make your tires look SO real??? Incredible workmanship across the board, but those tires, man!

There are Hot Wheels versions of the Classic "Race Team" in the Dragstrip Demons line and an 'S & M playset' (Toys'R'Us exclusive) very similer to the early 70's one, all available now. I'd guess it's more of a problem with the model companies and Mattel more than anything these days. Just a guess on my part based on observations only.

When was the last time this was available? the 60's? 1970 Dave .. Turk is flying around in his home made time machine and got his dates mixed up.... Give me a break, I said "40 ish" years ago... I do remember building it in my parents basement of our old house, and we moved out of there IN 1970... Didn't it first come out in 68 or 69? And I built the Time Machine from plans in the back of a Popular Mechanics or Popular Science or maybe a comic book... But Hey, I was right about the Dragon, wasn't I?

*Yes it said four earlier... Poor math on my part. Corrected so's I don't look too stupit.
