That second build has a familiar look to it. Started one years ago, but did not get nearly that far. Keep going. I'd love to see one finished. Hosted on Fotki

Sneak peak? Jeeesh, I posted my entire contest build - so far. I may loose that intitial impact, but I like sharing the build. Guess I'm a magazine writer wanabe. I will probably stop posting before the final assembly. It would take away from the overall show.
I always say, It's a hobby. Partcipate how you want...build, talk, collect, whatever. But remember to be kind.

I'm in.
Might even finish early. Laid down some sweet orange paint this weekend. It's from Extreme colors.
Then got stupid and touched some parts before they were no longer tacky. You would think that after 30 years, I would have figured it out.
Repeat after me - you can not rule the styrene - you must be one with it.
All is not lost. Another cloat of urethane clear and I am back in to where I started.
Back to work.

A few quick pics. Thanks to everyone for the input and encouragement as this build progressed. The journey is over. 2 years, evil doings, lots of do-overs and it is finally ready to put in the case. (Well, I am going to make a trophy and get a girl for the base.) Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiLook Paul, no peg board. Thanks for the tip, Bud. Flounder

Hey, that came out really nice. Just goes to show you that a little care and a Tom Daniels kit, and you get a great model.
Good stuff.

My favorite Merek Design. Nice work. I studied that front roof for a long time trying to figure out how it would look. Seems like that's settled now.
Excellent! I like the other 1/24 version too. Kudos to those guys as well.

I know a dude with long hair that built one just like that. He's been working on the same Deora for 3 years. Pretty kool dude too. Wish he was paret of this Krew.

Holy smokes that came out nice! I'd flip the grill.
Did you put the electric motor inside the block? I'd be curious to find out how that set up works.
Great build!

I am so bummed... I was at Universal Studios about three weeks ago and I took a pic of the actual house for you. The cool part was that there was the wreckage from a downed 747 in the foreground. It was just too bizarre. The 747 was from War of the Worlds.
The bummer was that Nani cleaned out the pic before I could post it. I sure we will go back soon, so I'll try again.

Such kool stuff. It would be fun to spend a day digging through it. Looks like you still need Snoopy's dog house unicycle trapeeze set. Had that one as a kid. Pretty fun. That marek drawing would definately be my favorite too.

Wow I had that same idea with te wheel stand and everything. I even got the decals and the kit. I think I was going to run slapper bars on mine and drop the headers way low. Great execution, Rob!

Eric.
The chassis and engine for the Digger Cuda can be found in the recently reissued Two Much Dragster. These are still on e-bay by the ton.
As for the body, good luck. They show up from time to time. Great box art too. Maybe with a little luck, they may reissue it agian. Good for you - bad for me. I spent 100.00 for an unbuilt one.
