Did you ever find those Hemi Fiat decals? No, no luck at all , and worse some people could reproduce them, but they cant do white decals, it would have to have a black border , and I'd really like it as original as possible

Amazing job on this rebuild ! If only the kid that made the gluebomb originally could see how it turned out !!

`Just found my old 1975 version of the 60's Monogram Ford Screamer kit. It WAS complete for many years , now I find the roof bar and front wheel is missing - Does anyone have the parts or a junker I can cannibalize to complete this kit again ? Will buy or trade if possible !

Ok, so nobody has these decals , does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get a decent set made ? I have a damaged set for a scan . I just had a set of custom decals made from Bedlam Creations. I have not tried them yet, but they certainly look good. Now, I had some difficulties with shipping (they got lost) and communications (his name is Josh), but eventually, it turned out all right: www.bedlamcreations.com/custom-waterslide-decals/jmuma@bedlamcreations.com Thanks for the lead , I'll look into it !

Have you considered dry transfers? They are basic, and dry transfers would work I'm sure , but I'd really like to see if I could get it to look like the box art. I'm kind of anal that way ; if I get an incomplete kit, I wont even start the restoration until I have every single piece !

I think the engine is different as well ; at the very least it sits lower in the Stinger . The Trick T's windshield is red , instead of the clear cowl the Stinger has

Wow, Slippery Arts decals! To quote Obi Wan, "That's a name I've not heard in a looong time, a long time "
And your build is fantastic ; I've never built one, but wish I had one now

Ebay # 126049932483 . Capsule , the mixing bowls and what looks to be an assembled engine assembly . They are mixed in with a lot of other kit parts . Not my auction , just saw it online and thought someone may need parts

You did an amazing job on an already finicky to build kit ! This is what all of us 12 year old kids hoped our build would look like when we bought the kit ; of course most ended up as glue bombs ( mine included). The extra touches you did on the kit are great, and fit in perfectly with the kits theme

I've heard the molds for this series was in poor shape , and that's why there's never been reissues , and with all the issues using the same basic parts I could believe its true. If they do bring them back , I'd like the Guber wagon to be reissued as its the only one I dont have

It amazes me how if just came up after all these years- how can someone hide it and nobody knows who has it ? Wouldn't someone have spilled the beans about who has it ? The again, The RTS Duster 340 was found decades later abandoned in a storage parking lot where it had sat for years outside and no one seemed to know what it was .

Hi gang. Haven't been here in a LONG time! Thought I had, but apparently not...lol. Anyway, I have acquired something a little odd (at least to me). Most of us know all about the 1/25 scale trike kits made by MPC (both originals and reissues). But, I got a hold of something I can't seem to find anything about. I have a Milk Trike body, molded in a lavender color, exactly like the MPC kit body. However, on the bottom of the floor panel, it is marked, in raised lettering, "ELDON 1970" and under that it says in smaller letters "Japan". The floor part is molded in white, as is one of the rear panels, but most of the body and the seat is molded in the lavender color. Was this kit originally released by Eldon, then the molds sold to MPC? Did Eldon "produce" the parts for this and MPC packaged and sold it? I'm confused...lol. I was gonna maybe mount this body on one of the newer reissue MPC labeled kits, without painting it, just for the 'nostalgia' of having a 53 year old model on the shelf, but I don't wanna do anything yet till I find out what exactly I have! Anyone got any ideas? Ron Do you have any pictures of it ?

I finally acquired a M.I.B. Revell Rat Fink in Lotus Racer for my collection a couple of weeks ago: I also scored this fabulous Monogram Indy Lotus a week ago: Neither was cheap. I paid through the nose for them. Nice score ! I dont think I've ever seen that Rat Fink kit in such mint condition

You're right, they do look better in their original colors ! You did a great job on it, I wish I had thought about painting the seats like that instead of the old standby black . I've always like this kit, I got lucky and was able to get a restorable one on Ebay ( minus the base) back when you could get good deals on them. The day-glo decals on this kit really make it stand out. I'm surprised that this was the only kit I know of that had them , there were psychedelic decals out , but no day-glo !

Just got word that Atlantis models will be releasing the long gone Rattler kit ! Its now going to be called the Sidewinder , and molded in tan, with different decals . I know a lot of guys have been wanting that kit for a long time .Also due out is the Miss Deal Studebaker , also renamed, but it will give people a chance to build these kits again without paying a huge price . I have both originals but plan on getting these ; we have to support Atlantis if we want more showrods !

Hey Don, this has been percolating in my brain all day, as I was sure there was a kit that had a blue tinted sheet for the windshield other than Skipper's Critter. It's the (Revell also) Miss Deal Studebaker "Funny Car". I would much rather have a clear windshield in mine, so I'd be happy to send you the blue material. It's 1-7/8" x 3-5/15". If that's big enough, PM me your address and I'll get it out to you. My restless gray matter tells me there is another kit that includes both blue & clear windshield material, but I can't pin it down! PM sent !!

Don, could you just tint some clear styrene with Tamiya Transparent Blue or a craft store glass stain? If you airbrush, you can do really thin coats and control the opacity. I've tried that , but I haven't had very good results , which is likely more my fault than the actual product. I was hoping someoone had an old sheet of it lying about ; I hate to use the clear sheet

Super big long shot here ,but I'm looking for the clear blue plastic sheet that came with the Skippers Critter kit . Decent ones that have been already cut from the sheet are ok too . I've tried aftermarket , but everything is too opaque

I'd say it was possible ! Tom was likely assigned to "update" existing kits to attract builders, and he may have looked through some old magazines for inspiration

A good buddy of mine who is less computer savvy than I am ( believe it or not ) is looking for a rear bumper for his Tom Daniel Super Taxi Nova . His is an original, but he doesn't care if its from the reissued kit or not, he'd just like to have old kit complete again. If anyone has one to spare, or even has a trashed build that still has a rear bumper, please let me know.

Unfortunately , Bob passed away a couple of years ago from cancer . I was a member on his model site .Even though I never met him, he called me a few times and we had long talks about the hobby. He was a great guy and would go out of his way to help people out. Whenever I look at some of the decals he made for me of the years I think about him . It took me a while to get back to building after he passed, but I know that's what he would want us to do
