Nice work! I like the replacement fender and door effect, great realism. Also nice chassis/suspension upgrades. One question...single exhaust? I can answer that. The single pipe is a "dummy", the V10 exhaust exits are right in front of the back wheels. Nice job Pat, when did you cook this one up?

Taking a drunks mistake and making a winning "race car" with your kid = Pricless! Winning $1050.00 and a big old trophy withsame said car = Epic priceless!

Those look like vac-formed parts to me and I'm pretty sure the original kit was all moulded plastic (it's a pretty rare kit so vac-forming the body parts wouldn't be a bad idea). Either way, if they are vac-formed I'd be inclined to cut a piece off first and test it with your preferred stripper just to make sure it doesn't melt! Those are the original kit parts and they are indeed vac-u-formed styreen. I remember my poor nine year old fingers trying to cut them out with scissors, and failing horrably back when the kit was new. Like others have said, cut out some samples that aren't 'parts' and try a few different removers. I'm thinking Easy-off oven cleaner may do the trick. Just don't leave it on very long. Better to make several light passes, rincing in between, rather than one heavy one that eats everything, parts included.

Needs more bracing. And cowbell. Great start! Looks like the twisted experiment is paying off!

The raptor needs some silly teeny tiny little T-Rex looking arms sticking out of those two recessed pockets on the front of the mid-section. Other than that, amazing as always!

It's got a "70's" vibe going on, so I'd detail it with 70's drag tech, which is far simpler than the modern stuff. Cool build Dave!

I'm going to attenpt to make a Dodge Caliber SRT-4 and plan to use the Revell Dodge Magnum SRT8 as a rough starting point. People often refer to the Caliber as a 'Baby Magnum', and there is a clear resemblence, so, it's better than nothing. Since this project may well be doomed to failure from the start, I want to try it as cheap cheap cheap as I can. I'm going to be cutting the body every way to Friday so a heavy glue bomb is fine, my priority is CHEAP! Thanks in advance,
Mike

There ain't much 'Moonscope' left in that kit... It's the Space 1999 Alien now. The Moonscope had six wheels and a rounded front end. I don't see Round 2 bothering to reverse retooling the kit back to what it was before MPC butchered it. That's not to say it can't be made into something worth looking at, it just won't be a "Moonscope".

If your goal is an accurate version, you'll want to use a Pontiac engine, not a Chevy. At least in the Milk Truck anyway. A Chevy in the trike would make perfect sense though, smaller and lighter than a Poncho motor, a plus in a trike format. If I'm not mistaken, there's a nice 1/25 421 Pontiac available in the Parts Pack line.
